Action Sports Events for March 2024
We're excited to present the lineup of must-see Street Sports events for the upcoming weeks. If you are a rollerskater, skateboarder, or bike rider we have something for you!

How long: 10am - 6pm
What’s Happening:
- Celebrating 2 Years of F51
- £5 skate all-day
When: 8th March
Where: The Snow Center, Saint Albans Hill, Hemel Hempstead, HP3 9NH
How long: 9:30am - 4pm
What’s Happening:
- 1 hr yoga class with @louise_beyondthemat
- Either 2 hrs beginners class, or a six hour pass to the main slope if you can already snowboard
- Lunch at the Alpine Lodge overlooking the slopes (price not included)
- All levels welcome, but there are specific groups you need to go into depending on experience.
Birmingham Roller Derby Double Header
When: 9th March
Where: Thorns Collegiate Academy, Stockwell Ave, Quarry Bank, Brierley Hill DY5 2NU
How long: 11am - 3:30pm
What’s Happening:
Birmingham Roller Derby presents two games jam packed with fast paced action featuring four fabulous teams!
- First whistle Game 1: Leeds Roller Derby B Team vs Oxford Roller Derby Blackbirds (A Team)
- First whistle Game 2: Birmingham Roller Derby B vs London Rockin Rollers
TCC x Transkaters present: Trans Skate Night
When: 23rd March
Where: Hop Kingdom, Druid Street, London, SE1 2EY
How long: 6pm - 10pm
What’s Happening:
- Join The Trans Creative Collective x Transkaters with Not A Phase to celebrate trans joy!
- For the 3rd birthday, join us for an evening of live music (Freddie Lewis headlining and more to be announced!), skate sessions and more!
- Due to the venue serving alcohol, this event is strictly over 18s only.
When: 23rd March
Where: F51 Sports Park, Tontine Street, FOLKESTONE, Kent, CT20 1SD
How long: 9:30am - 6pm
What’s Happening:
There will be three age categories riding on the bowl floor Under 12's, Under 14's in the Bowl area and Under 17 in the Pool :
Each Boys and Girls categories (at time of competition) will use an in order Jam format - detailed information will be sent to competitors prior to event
Entries numbers are limited at events due to the run times of the competitions.
The Crank It Sherwood Pines Weekender
When: 23rd - 24th March
Where: Sherwood Pines Forest Park, Mansfield Rd, Mansfield NG21 9JL
How long: 9:30am - 4pm
What’s Happening:
Family fun, electric challenge and that competitive edge, the Crank It Weekender has something for everyone
This year is full of exciting formats, from E-bikes and timed stages to racing and skills coaching.
2024 Scottish Open Street Champs
When: 24th March
Where: The Loading Bay Skatepark, 100 Borron St, Glasgow G4 9XE
How long: 9am - 9pm
What’s Happening:
- Under 16’s men & women’s events with product prizes
- Over 17’s men & women’s events with cash prizes
HYSTERICAL X HOP: Skate & Sketch Social
When: 24th March
Where: HOP Kingdom, 16 Druid St, London SE1 2EY
How long: 10am - 12pm
What’s Happening:
- A 2-hour workshop and open skate, consisting of a 1-hour skate + 1-hour sketch workshop run by Bee Illustrates. Attendees will be split into 2 groups, swapping on the hour. Followed by an optional tour of the exhibition afterwards.
- All skate abilities are welcome, this event will be specifically aimed at women + LGBTQ + folks.
- Please bring your own skate kit if you have it, but equipment is available to hire from Hop King if you need!
