SkateHut’s New Store Is Officially Open Amid Company-Wide Expansion!
On Saturday 22nd October, SkateHut threw a launch party to celebrate the opening of its new Halesowen store located on Amber Way in Halesowen, only 5 minutes from its old store on Shenstone Trading Estate.
The store is bigger and better than ever, sat on the ground floor at the brand’s new colossal head office! Prior to the shop launch, SkateHut’s staff moved into the new premises at the beginning of October as part of a company-wide expansion whereby the brand is set to further increase its product range. SkateHut’s new warehouse and site will be paramount in allowing the brand to achieve this goal, measuring 60,000 square feet.
The launch ran over two days, on Saturday 22nd October and Sunday 23rd October, with food, refreshments, music and even a pinball machine available for visitors to indulge in, amongst many other things. The atmosphere was electrifying and everyone was having a great time celebrating this milestone in SkateHut’s fantastic journey. There was even an original PlayStation 1 with the classic Tony Hawk game, which was an absolute hit!
The shop also has a Star Wars-themed Mandalorian pinball machine which people were queuing to have a crack at, attempting to beat the high score. The pinball machine isn’t going anywhere anytime soon and will be available for anyone who dares to have a go and take the top spot! Corey Roper, Jazz Gordon and Jamie Hull, SkateHut’s sponsored skateboard and scooter riders were also at the shop launch, along with roller skater April Alforque.
