The 900 Playing at SkateHut HQ

Can you think of a better duo other than Skateboarding and head banging tunes? We’ll wait…

Still thinking? Don’t worry, while you ponder, we’ll just announce something awesome happening at the SkateHut HQ store in Halesowen on 3rd February 2024. The exceptionally awesome cover band, The 900 will be playing a set from 12pm to 2pm, blasting out absolute bangers from the nostalgic and cult classic game, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. This will be one date in your calendar you won’t want to forget.

We’ve set up a Facebook event page for you to keep an eye on, but tickets will be available soon from Eventbrite and any donations will go straight to our chosen charity, Birmingham Childrens Hospital, so not only will you get an amazing gig, but you’ll be supporting a fantastic cause. Check out our Facebook page for more details:

-- Make sure you have your ticket! --

What’s more, we’ll be doing auctions, giveaways, and raffles, so there will be loads of goodies to get your hands on too. You’d be out of your mind not to go! To be honest, you’d also be out of your mind if you did go!

With more details being leaked up until the 3rd February, make sure to sign up to our newsletter or follow us on Facebook, Instagram or subscribe to our YouTube channel for the latest gossip.

Why are The 900 Awesome?

As the UK’s first and only Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater cover band, even playing with Tony Hawk himself on stage, they play music from Alien Ant Farm, Dead Kennedy’s, Goldfinger, Papa Roach and more. If you love skating or just long for a feeling of nostalgia, listening to some of the most popular bands back in the day, then The 900 will put on a show for you.

Want to get kitted out for the gig? Make sure you hit our clothing range, with loads of hoodies, tees, sneakers and more, all at great deals, including top brands like Santa Cruz, Thrasher, Independent and Rip’n’Dip. There’s up to 60% off, so grab it while it’s hot!

  • How many people can go to this gig?

We have 200 tickets available, so there are limited spaces if you're interested. We'd advise to keep checking our Facebook event page for updates and when the Eventbrite page is set up. We'll also update this blog post if you want to bookmark it for the future.
  • Is there parking?

There will be limited onsite parking available. We would advise organising a car share if possible so you can secure a parking spot, but roadside parking is also available nearby.
  • Is it open to all ages?

Yes it is open to all ages, but some of the songs may include parental advisory lyrics and, of course, the music will be fairly loud.
