What's the Big EDEA
Who is Edea?
Edea was founded by Sabrina Merlo, the daughter of Antonio Merlo and Caterina Rizzo, and the niece of Armando Rizzo, who had founded Risport in 1972.
After two years of intensive research and development and thanks to the support of her family and the experts the first boots hit the ice on 02/02/02.
Research, development and production are entirely based in Italy and focused only on figure-skating boots (both ice and rollers).
Sabrin Merlo says ‘New materials, technology and thinking means the impossible is just an idea away. This constant search for perfection means we stay ahead of the ordinary. At Edea we concentrate on the future so you can focus on performance. We want your dreams to come real.’
Edea Motivo Figure Ice Skates
The Motivo from Edea is a great beginner/intermediate skate with a mid stiff construction. EDEA Skates ALL have a Thermoformable Structure which allows manipulation of the boot to give the perfect Custom fit without the Custom price.
Edea Overture Figure Skates
The Overture boot is a combination of lightweight design and Edea technology. It is also their best selling boot to date. The Overture offers great support and flexibility for skaters who are looking to develop and are performing basic skills single jumps and axels.
The Overture is an intermediate skate suitable for skaters performing single jumps.
Edea Chorus Figure Ice Skate Boot
The Chorus boot is one of the most popular models available and is the next model up from the Overture and Prelude. It has been designed for skaters doing double jumps, so if you're serious about your skating then this boot can help. In this model, the Edea has combined lightness and the latest technology to ensure maximum performance and comfort.
