Kids go through shoes fairly fast in normal situations, so imagine how quick young skaters that skate daily go through a pair of trainers!
Our rider Roxana is just 8 years old and hits the skate park, or her mini half pipe in her garden, pretty much every day of the week. So she flies through footwear! We sent her some Nike SB Stefan Janoski Skate Shoes and this is her review:
What skate shoes have you worn in the past?
I’d normally wear Vans, but I’ve also worn Etnies and Lakai too
How long would they normally last?
About 6-8 weeks before they’re destroyed! Normally, laces don’t last as long, they’re usually torn after a week.
What were your first thoughts of the Nike SB Stefan Janoski’s SkateHut sent?
I’ve wanted these shoes for ages so was stoked you sent them to me. I love the colour and style. They’re also slim and not too chunky which I definitely prefer for skating!
What did you think to the colour?
The pink is so rad, I love them.
Did they fit you OK?
Yes, they fit perfectly!
Are they comfortable?
They are very comfortable, some shoes I’ve had can be a bit uncomfy for skate and hurt my feet, but these were great.

This is the 8 th week I’ve had them and they’re still in good shape. The rope style laces lasted longer than standard laces, so that was a real bonus and they lasted 5 weeks before one snapped! So much longer than normal for me. A great pair of shoes all round!
