Unagi One E500 Electric Scooter
Incorporating innovative design with top of the range specs, the Unagi One has set a new standard for electric scooters.
The first electric scooter to feature ‘one click’ folding technology, the One E500 can be folded in half and locked in place effortlessly, allowing riders to easily carry their scooter around and store.
Crafted from a magnesium alloy, the handlebar is perhaps the most attractive part of it. Built with an integrated screen, riders can easily see their speed, range and battery life, without having to connect to their phone. The handlebar also incorporates the ergonomically designed braking lever system, as well as a horn and LED headlight for safe riding.
For those who are not comfortable with lever braking, Unagi have also built in an additional intuitive friction brake, which allows riders to simply press on the rear wheel casing to control their speed, similar to that of a traditional push scooter.
Three different types of ride mode allow users to pick their top speed, however, the One E500 is capable of up to 25km/h (15.5mph) on its highest setting. The Sony battery takes 4-5 hours for a full charge, and will run for up to 24.95km (15.5 miles), allowing riders plenty of range for their commute, and more if needs be!
Overall, we think the Unai One E500 is one of the best models available on the market right now, and is a serious option for anyone looking to revolutionize their daily commute.
Although private electric scooters are not currently legal to ride on roads of pavements at the moment, with rental electric scooter schemes being rolled out across the UK, MPs are looking at changing this legislation. Electric scooters are still perfectly fine to use on private land currently!
