In our newest installation of the Cheapest VS Most Expensive series, Bobby's looking at the cheapest longboard SkateHut has to offer, VS the most expensive! We have an extensive range of complete longboards, so naturally there is a big difference in price between what we have to offer on the lower end, compared to the top of the range models.
Here, Bobby explains the difference between the two boards and what you get for your money with each set up!
Cheap Longboards - Are they any good?
Cheaper longboards are completely safe as long as you are purchasing from a trusted skate shop. The only difference between boards at the cheaper end of the skate is often the materials used to construct the board. The Hudora Imperial Cruiser is one of the cheapest longboards we have to offer in our skate shop. Built with a sturdy 8-ply canadian maple deck, 65mm 78a wheels and inverted trucks for as Bobby says, MORE TURN! This longboard is a great entry point for someone looking to pick up longboarding, or to just help you to get from A to B.

What makes the top of the range expensive?
At the other end of the spectrum we have our professional level boards. Bobby has picked out the Loaded Cantellated Tesseract and the Loaded Dervish to highlight our top of the range longboards.
Whilst you may pay a lot more for these boards compared to the Hodura Imperial Cruiser, these boards can be tailored to your exact preferences. Through choosing your desired deck flex, trucks, wheels and bearings, you can bring a whole new dimension to your riding experience. If you’re a rider who wants a board made for their specific riding style, you can get the very best value for your money with these boards.
