Events Timetable for April

Tram Line Spot Opening Jam

When: 2nd of April

Where: Sussex St, Nottingham NG1 7EZ

How long: 10:30am - 5pm

What's Happening: Free Skateboard coaching in the morning with Skate Nottingham, there’ll be on-the-spot cash for tricks, plus 2 best trick contests in the afternoon will see winners each take home £250.

New obstacles at TLS for this jam will include the Betongpark.Ltd kicker, kindly gifted to Nottingham in 2021, and a wooden DIY kicker that slots into the steps. ⁣

 

 

⁣Uplift Festival

When: 5th - 7th of April 

Where: Rotherham town centre

What's Happening: A pop-up roller rink from the brilliant Roller Girl Gang, and two arenas for Skateboarding and BMX, with demos from three amazing professional Skateboarders including Skateboard GB National Team Member, Alex deCunha, plus, Tommy Corbridge and Adam Kay.

There will also be live music, including Blood Stained Reputation, Paper Scenes, and festival headliners Sheffield rock beasts Black Spiders. Also a number of creative workshops, commissioned by flux, from artists, Ed Syder, Natasha Clarke, and Phil Padfield who will all be based on Effingham Street for all 3 days of the Festival.

Rotherham Council has been able to offer free stalls to young people aged 16 – 25, so be sure to check out the market, where you will find handmade jewellery, hand-drawn posters, clothing and more.

 

 

BCX Series BMX event

When: 8th of April

Where: Creation Skatepark, 582 Moseley Rd, Balsall Heath, Birmingham B12 9AA

What’s Happening: Non-competitive BMX Bike only event, there will be a team of coaches on hand to deliver sessions for riders of all abilities. There will be games and Jams for people to engage with throughout the day, prizes and giveaways provided by both British Cycling and our event sponsors. The end of the day will be a free open session for the wider BMX community to enjoy.

 

 

Petticoat

When: 13th of April

Where: Strange brew Bristol

How Long: Doors Open at 7:30PM

What’s Happening: Video premier, featuring: Rianne Evans, Beth Howells, Linda Robart Allali, Poppy Holmes-Volks, Mae Bicheno, Bella Warley, Jade Danielle

Also there will be live music and market stalls.

 

 

The final sesh all nighter

When: 14th of April

Where: Just Ramps, Waterside Industrial Estate, Ettingshall Rd, Wolverhampton WV2 2RH

How long: 10pm - 8am

What's Happening: Competitions, loads Of Prizes, Pro-Riders, Giveaways, Raffles. It's going to be large. Two days after this All-Nighter, the ramps will be stripped and the place will be re-built.

 

 

National Championships - PARK

When: 15th and 16th of April 

Where: XC, Jarman Park, Hemel Hempstead HP2 4JS

What's Happening: Heats on Saturday followed by the semi’s and final on Sunday. The finals of both events will be once again broadcast on the BBC iPlayer, BBC Red Button, BBC Sport Website and the Skateboard GB YouTube channel.

 

 

Trendkill JAM at The GYM

When: 22nd of April

Where: Lee Conservancy RD.Wick, London, E9

How long: Starts at 12pm

What’s Happening: Scooter street Jam Followed by an after party video premiere where we will be showing “THIS RUN UP SUCKS!” & “PURSUIT” by Murray Ager

 

 

SCOOT Royale Event

When: 23rd of April

Where: Adrenaline Alley, 6 Priors Haw Rd, Corby NN17 5PH

How long: 12pm - 9pm

What's Happening: One of the most epic S.C.O.O.T tournaments to ever take place with a top prize of £500.00 plus loads more to be won on each round! This is limited to 120 spaces and open to riders of ALL ages and ALL abilities.

Following the tournament, there will also be a ‘Battle of the Brands’ where each brand will select one of their top pro’s to compete in a more traditional run-based competition in building 3. The event will wrap up with a meet & greet session with some of your favourite pros.

 

 

National Championships - STREET

When: 29th and 30th of April

Where: Bay, 66 Acklam Rd, London W10 5YU

What's Happening: Heats on the Saturday and semi’s and final on the Sunday. The finals of both events will be once again broadcast on the BBC iPlayer, BBC Red Button, BBC Sport Website and the Skateboard GB Youtube channel.
