Meet The SkateHut Team

Our Most frequent DM through our social is “are you sponsoring?” Over the years we’ve been blessed to work with many great scooter and skateboard riders, but we all felt it had been far too long since we had a full SkateHut sponsored team. 

In the past we have sponsored Scooter riders but recently we have expanded our team to 4. Two Stunt Scooter riders, a Skateboarder and a Roller Skater.

So let’s introduce our four official pro riders:

Jordan Hall

Currently ranked 2nd in Europe and 10th in the world, Jordan’s approach to park is highly technical to the point where he’s pulling out tricks with a level of consistency that so many of his peers won’t dabble with for fear of messing up their run! As well as being sponsored by SkateHut, Jordan is also currently sponsored by Rollbackworld and GAIN Protection.

Jamie Hull

Jamie Hull Recently won the World Championships in Argentina. He has also been UK Champion twice and has also landed the first triple backflip to wood. 

Jamie has a really strong mental perspective and attack mode, which he turns on in high pressure situations, which can really help him in competitions.

Corey Roper

When looking into sponsoring a Skateboarder we wanted someone local to us. We had seen Corey pop up at a few events and jams around the midlands so we knew he was dedicated to the sport. Corey is a new up-and-comers Skater, as he just came third in The Survival Of The Sickest competition which was his first time competing.

April Alforque

April is our first ever roller skate sponsor and also based locally. April's skate style is mostly dance and freestyle and has just learnt how to  do the backbend. It's a move you do when you're on your toes before you move on to do some floorwork. Imagine you're doing the limbo on Skates and keeping your abs engaged the whole time. We love the Roller Skating scene and can’t wait to see what moves April comes up with next!
